Today I tried to fix my es system. All gears worked fine before I pulled off my old angle sensor. I put on the new sensor and now only getting R,N,1. Then --. I tried adjusting the clutch but the clutch adjustment is locked up. I made the mistake of heating it up, come to find out there's o-ring behind that...so I melted them. The emergency foot shift worked then locked up after trying to shift down. Now it's sitting at --. I took off the shift motor and the foot shift now is working just fine with out the sensor on or motor. I wanted to replace the angle sensor because the gears would slam into place when driving around. Maybe my gear shift motor is bad?? Or do I have to pull the front cover off my transmission to fix the clutch screw?

You definitely have too pull the front cover off to replace the adjusting screw for the clutch. It's not hard, lift the front of the bike off the ground so oil doesn't run out. And it's not good too heat aluminum up either because it warps very very VERY easy...when you take the front cover off, there is a triangle thingy with a ball bearing, you'll know it when you see it, make sure that's in place and the fork is as well. Get the Manual or YouTube it. It's not hard. I've done it before.
