can you change from a push button to a foot shif

i wouldnt see why not and you would still have the es there if you want to use it.

Not sure what else, but I bet that there is more needed than just a foot lever. I would talk to hondamechanic to find out for sure.

the gears are angled different in a S compared to a ES. the foot shifter on a ES is ment for only use for a short period of time, not full time use. you are just goina kill your trani over time if you keep using the foot shifter.

According to the Parts microfiche for the 07 ES vs the 07 S every part inside of the transmission seems to be the same, including the gears (Part numbers are identical).

Maybe the ealier year Foremans were different between ES and S??

Of course I will always defer to Honda Mechanic for a Pros opinion.

For all ESP models ..

TRX350FE & FM use the same transmission but the clutch springs are different and the FE uses a judder spring

TRX450FE & FM have different cuts (bevel) on the gear teeth but use the same clutch ..
