Shaft Leak

I noticed mine is not a dripping leak but I can see a little remnant of something on the shaft where it goes in the engine
yea thats how mine is too. i cant find anything.
if some one can get a pics break down so i can get the size of the seal i might be able to match it up with a cat seal. we have a sh-- load of seals we can get or try and match it to.

Mine is sitting at House of Pain right now for that same seal. Should be done by the weekend, if the part comes in so they say...
I realize that we all seem to have the same leak , i had mine replaced once( warranty) and have not had a releak yet. Has anyone replaced there seal or had it replaced and had it leak again ? Maby this is just a bad batch of seals and it may not happen again.... any thoughts
Mine has the same problem???
hmmm, sounds like a conspiracy to me...going to check my bike tonight
mine was replaced about a month ago
Mine just got out of the shop for the same thing (warranty!) I was told that alot of them are doing it. Mine being an 06 perhaps its not just a bad batch and its a bad design!
Seems a lot of the 500's are havin' problems. Why is this?
i'm with railroader, hate to say it but honda is not do very well on the new foremans
Hey Vaughn.. It may be because you ride so many water wheelies that the oil is draining out of your front end..Try moving your beer cooler to the front to keep it down some. Ha Ha Ha.. I know you too well.. I am surprised that your front tires on your truck dont get another 10,000 miles more that your rear tires. Love Ya..Ha Ha Ha.... C-Ya
Mine too is leaking. Has anyone had problems getting this fixed under warranty? Once my warranty is gone how hard would it be to replace this seal?
Mine was replaced under warranty. I did no teven take the snorkel off.
Spoke to Vaughn yesterday.. He said he bought 4 extra seals in case the seal goes again. Everyone is hoping that it was just a bad batch of seals and there are no more problems with it. He has not riden it since he replaced it. Keepin' our fingers crossed.
