Screen goes blank 3rd + 4th

Took my front diff out to replace a cracked casing. Put it back in, put sensors back in diff took it for a test spin and everything is fine except for when I upshift into 3rd or 4th gear. It goes blank on the dash until I get back into 2nd or go all the way to fifth gear. It will still shift but doesnt show it on the dash for those 2 gears. Also sometimes when you stay in a gear (3rd for ex.) and the screen is blank it will get stuck in that gear and I have to turn the key on/off quickly to kinda reset the computer. It then lets me shift out of that gear but still does the blank screen in 3rd or 4th gear.

I have never had a problem with this before I took the front diff out and unplgged the 2 sensors out of the diff itself. Anyone have any suggestions?

I take it you have the ES model?
Sounds like one of your sensors might be shorting out, check them over to make sure they are seated properly.
Sounds like you got a bad flux capacitor my friend...boy is that gonna cost a pretty penny

Wondering if that could be in. They are held in by 2 screws each that thread into the differential casing. And they are both tight like a tiger. I will go over them again and check them. I was wondering if they get a piece of dirt on them or something if they do that.
Those are speed sensors .. they are not mixed up are they ..?
I am not totally sure if they mixed up or not. I need to go over them again. It still goes into 4wd and out no problem. It wouldnt do that if they were mixed up will it?
Could it be the angle sensor? Every once in a while, my screen used to go blank, then honda mechanic sent me a diagram and I took the sensor off and cleaned the angle sensor connectors with electrical parts cleaner and it worked fine ever since.

Very well could be. But has never ever done it until I took the front diff out and then put it all back together again. So I would say its not that. I drove it around last night with a group and it did the same thing but sometime it would work completely normal and show the 3rd and 4th gears on the screen and then would disappear again. Still at a stump.
