I am having the same issue with my 2011. Did you figure out your issue. Mine will go blank and then come back and then work for a while and do it again.
Rubicon Tranny Issue

I have an 06 Rubicon. I have started having a transmission issue. The indicator does not flash, it simply goes blank and whatever gear you are in is the gear it stays in. It doesn't matter if it is in ESP D1 or D2. If you switch to low range you can shift just fine. If you are in a certain (say 3rd) gear in low and put it back into high range you will be in that gear but again cannot shift and again the screen stays blank. Other than that there are no issues with the tranny(noises, grinding etc). Any ideas??? Thanks
