This is the 8mm allen bolt you remove the check oil pressure ..

This is the Honda adapter for the Honda oil pressure gauge..

This is the oil pressure at idle .. Minimum is 16 PSI..

This is the oil pressure at 5000 RPM .. Minumun is 116 PSI ..

bad oil pump thats all it could be unless you have a clogged line but i dought that could happen
This is great information! Thanks!

It might be kinda cool to have an oil pressure gauge permanently installed on the handlebars to monitor this.

Low oil pressure can be caused by:
• Oil level low
• Oil pressure relief valve wear
• Clogged oil strainer or filter
• Faulty oil pump
• Internal oil leak
• Incorrect oil being used
what is the gauge part number ?
Part # BR549  LOLOL ,most (common) oil pressure gauges dont go up to 120 psi. You could get the honda gauge ,or a hydraulic pressure gauge they come in different pressure ranges-then you'll have to get the fittings..

This is just my thought ,if you put a gauge on the handlebars ? You could have several oil line problems, breaking, leaking from rubbing aginst body or frame parts or ripped off by brush in the woods, even a burnt up engine ...
I am ordering the oil pressure adaptor but wondering what size/type fitting is coming off the adaptor that the gauge hose would attach to? It looks to be a quick release fitting. Better yet, does anyone know of where I can order a gauge that would attach to this adaptor?
Toodeep would be one of the guys to ask..
