I been useing regular rotella 15w 40 since I Bought my bike 2 two years ago. It's been sunk 6 times and only had to have to wrist pin and rings changed once. I never let the oil turn black and change it frequently.

Recently had gear reduction put on my bike. My buddy who did it told me the inside my motor was very clean.

One oil change ago I began to add 20% lucas heavy duty additive. I did notice the bike fan not turn on as much. Keep in mine I do run thru mud parks and do long distance trail riding.
I wouldn't use anything else but rotella.

so you have now added a additive that will make clutches slip ......yu b smarts ....dumbazz

use a good JASO-MA dino or syn oil and thats it .....the rating of JASO-MA (or better ) is approved for wet clutch systems ....adding the additive will make the clutches slip and glaze over .....it's not needed and will do more harm then good in the long run

I don't believe it's going to hurt my clutches. I notice since using the lucas fan turning on less and oil not thinning out as much. To each his oil I guess.

why do people think they are smarter then the fukin engineers that design these things .....LMFBO !!!!
i work on these things for a living and have seen what happens when you run oil that isn't designed for a wet clutch oiling system .....but fuk man its your wheeler and you can do what you want but don't give people the wrong advice on this forum .....please
