Rubber boot thing

Well last night I went riding and I climbed up a bank and when I got to the top I found that there was really no space to turn around. Well I stated doing like a 20 point turn around when my front tires went down over the other side of the trees and the whole wheeler went down the bank, well i was down shifting and pumping the brakes to try and slow down to no avail. This morning when I went out side there was a large stick stuck in the front of the wheeler. it was wedged up against the rubber boot thing on the left side drive shaft. the rubber boot things pretty messed up, how bad is that? will any grease leak out ?

You need to get it fixed asap. Try not to get any water or debris in there.
It isn't too hard to change.
as Railroader stated the CV boot needs to be changed, if u ride it with a torn boot, trash and mud can get inside and damage the CV shalf and axle. u are looking at about $25 for a replacement boot and boot grease.
I would recommend getting a gorrila boot for stock axle instead of an OEM boot. The Gorilla boot is a differrent material than stock and is a lot tougher, We've been through many stock boots but have yet to have to replace a gorilla.
Where can I get one?

What should I do to clean it out I was mudding with it for a while before I noticed that it had been torn

You can get the gorilla boot at <a href="http://www.gorilla-axle.com/" target="_blank">http://www.gorilla-axle.com/</a>
