I find when trying to manuver around in the mudd and you get on the gas hard then let off all at once the bike wants to kill. I tried to idle it up but then i have a hard time getting it out of gear. Does anyone know whats causing this??????????????

Faster idle will produce harder or impossible shift. This is apparent at warmup for instance.

In your case, the question is why do you get the kill effect. It should not die... mud or no mud.

Any other symptoms? Popping? Sputtering that sort of thing? Black soot around the exhaust? getting hot quick.

Or, it could be the fact that your trying to go around the mud, instead of through it!

The HMF will flow more exhaust & be louder, also if you install a K&N airfilter you will flow more air in,,, your jutting might be right on or at leat real close...

I run a K&N/HMF setup & like it
