i know this is not hard to do but is there anything wrong with doing it? will it hirt anything? it will only be used in mud but when i want a normal reverse will the override just take off with alot of power when i dont want it? could someone give me directions so i dont mess up if i do it? for all of you that are wondering yea i did get the idea from the post in the foreman 500 section.

Can that be done on my 2002 rubicon? In an emergency. Mine occasionally spits and spudders in reverse and light doesn’t come on

Are you talking about just making the lever on the front brake not needed to engage reverse?

If so, then it works great on my ES. It won't allow you to go into reverse anyway if you are still moving. At least mine won't.

And yes full power -- there doesn't really seem to be a throttle limiter there like my polaris had. I have popped the back wheels off the ground by mistake in reverse/4wd before.
