rev limiter?

anybody know if a 05 foreman 500 has a rev limiter?

Yes, found out the hard way. My little girl hit the throttle while in nuetral. Hehe. That was one of many times I was very glad for my manual shift.

honda 500s DO a rev limiter.
The 500s does have a rev limiter. Put it in reverse and hit the throttle if your still curious, you'll see. It'll get choppy.

definly has rev limiter. i was doing a wheelie to day and accidently downshifted and it didnt rev to hight like it would have with out rev limiter.

You can't shift when over 3000 rpm but is there also a max rpm limiter
it wasnt that it was to high or rpm when i shifted down but when it hit that lower gear it reved high and though me into the bars
A three question post At what RPM does the rev limiter kick in , Does anyone know were in the RPM range you get the peak horsepower and tourque, what is the redline of the 500. Thanks
