*I posted this in the 400 formeman section, however this appears to have more traffic - so I apoligize for the double post*

My brother has a 98 forman and his factory suspension is way to soft and appeasr his factory shocks are shot. I have searched and the only kit I have found is the highlifter progressive shocks - but these will cost 500.00 for front/rear...

Is there anyone else who makes a replacement or is there any tips/tricks on any shocks that are made for another application that will work on this machine?

any help would be appreciated...

You can get the lift springs, to stiffen them up, they are pretty cheap. Or look into OEm Shock they are $119ea on ServiceHonda.

The ones for the 2005 Foreman are $62.50 (Front) $54 (Rear) each so you may want to see if they will work. They will probably ride better as well.
And to add to Truegrits response about the 500 shocks, they should give
a nice lift to the ol' 400.
