I use the Honda gear oil. I think its 20w-50. Not 100% positive though.

what is everybody using in rear diff, brand and weight, never changed mine, but want to.

I use Pro Honda shaft drive Hypoid gear oil SAE80w90 in my old Recon and my new 05 Foreman 500. It is what the Owner's manual recommended for both machines. It has worked great for me.
I have always used 80-90w gear oil in ours & they have been fine.
