Im on the hunt for some new ratchet straps. I went to 3 different places today looking for them and couldnt find what I was looking for.

I am looking for a 500lb bright in color with nice big plastic handles that are about 12 ft in legnth.

I tried Lowes, Home Depot, and Wal-Mart and had no luck. Any other suggestions??? Looking to spend about $10 per strap.

I have 3, 4" x 20' Straps withe the ratchets and a pick bar. All unused and brand new. They are rated for 10,000 lbs, I think. They are the ones used on semi trailers. I'll cut you a smokin' deal.

Otherwise try "House of Pain" and pick me up a gallon of oil while your there. Atlantic Wire and Rigging (AWR) in PSJ can custom make any strap/ratchet combo you want (Thats where I got my 1"x 20' strap from that pulled your truck out). Plus they stock a lot of them too. Try calling them.
I use the ones that Wally world carries. They have worked great. I am suprised they didnt have what u where looking for.

Yeah I dont think I need to hold down anything with that kind of weight to it so ill pass on the smokin deal.

Didnt even think about H.O.P. for straps. Guess ill try them next after Harbor Freight.

Dirtyforman, I used those wally world straps for a year and a half and they just now went to junk. Very good for the price but want even bigger and better now.
Harbour Freigt's starps ae junk, don't bother.

I dont think they even rate that high.
I got a nice set from autozone, kind of lie the ones that you described.
Home depot carries straps other than the bright orange ones, these are maroone in color they are only sold singley but they are about 15-20 piece. well worth it though

although i use the orange ones and never had a problem, and they are cheap enough when they get fraid and dirty just toss um and buy new
tractor supplie
Yeah I need to try Tractor Supply today as well. They always have quality, and everything your looking for.
Sam's Cluster.. err Club

I got a set of 4 2500# straps for 19.99 there, Flourescent green, 1.5"x20'.
I use 2 inch wide 7ft long staps from Tractor
supply.
tractor supply for everything i need my rear seat on the rack the cover i use the tow straps and everything all can from my local tractor supply
Ok after going to every dang place around me I finally found exactly what I was looking for. Yellow, big handles, plastic grips, long, and hold a lot of weight. Also they were 4 for under $20, and I got em at SAMS club.
Euro I saw the straps you were inquiring about at the Wally World in Viera today. They must have just been out when you were looking. 2pk, 1"x 10' yellow 1100lbs rating.

I dotn think they suck they do work well. They may not Look to fancy or have "eye appealling" colors but they do work without problems from my experience.

My buddy bought some at walmart which were easier to release than the HF straps.
