Does any one know where you can buy a snorkel kit for the 420 Rancher? Also anyone recommend any certain brand?

i dont think there is an actual kit out there. you best bet would be to get some pvc at your local home store and start playing around with the pvc to see what fits.

mine is not installed yet but i have everything cut to fit. i used 1 1/2" pvc about 3" long coming out of the air intake box then an adaptor to go to 2" vac hose(so i could snake around the motor and radiator) with heat tape wraped around the hose so if it does touch the motor it will not melt, then 2" pvc from the fender up about about 2' with a 90* ontop. the reason its not installed is i have not decided where im going to bring the pvc up, aka hole in fender or out the radiator hole.
thats nice but $85 i spent $13 on mine
I too made the purchase of a snorkle and wasn't happy with what was shipped to my door so I went to Lowes/Home Depot and after PVC, brass fittings and paint I'm $25 into mine.
Some people use spa hose and it seems to work out great.
its cheap and easy to do your own but bayousnorkels.com has a kit and it would probably be the best you can buy
that ones $99. all they are using is pvc too. the only advantage to ordering a kit is you dont have to think about what parts to buy and how to seal the connections, the kit has all the parts so all you do is buy the kit and install it. i would never spend $99 on a kit that i know how to make for about $15, but then again im a cheap a$$ and will take more pride in building something myself

I wouldn't reccomend using anything but 2" pvc and or spa hose. I did quite a bit of research before I did mine and several people used 1 1/2" and it was choking the engine. I used 2" PVC and Spa hose on mine and it works GREAT!

I connected mine where the stock air intake entered the air box. You may have to sand the pipe/fitting a little to make it fit but you will want to make sure it's air tight!
