Question

Okay real quick, I just rejeted and I didnt install a new plug so I'm just trying to tune it by feel. If it takes off pretty good through mid range and feels like it has nothing on the top then that would be running too lean right. I pulled the plug and its just barely getting white on the tip but I didnt run it that long just down the road and back. I'm running the 134 jet and the needle is on the 5th notch with the air/fuel out 2 1/2. Should I screw it in another 1/2 and see if it does any better or should I move the clip another notch. I would have tried it but its just too late to be running that hmf up and down the road. Any info will help. Thanks

Please!!!!! Someone answer his question. I have the same question on
my mind. I need to jet to the 134 Saturday. Too bad i don't live on the
farm anymore. I could test it anytime i wanted with the HMF.
I forget when someone says 5th notch weather that means its at the top of the needle or if its at the bottom. Mine is all the way at the bottom and its perfect for me. I am also running a DJ134 jet.

The fuel mixture screw will having nothing to do with your full throttle problems. The mixture screw will only effect 1/4 throttle or less.

Pull the choke out when you notice the problem. If it runs better you are lean. Fuel flow probs at WOT are usually related to the size of the main jet. So you may end up going even bigger or restrict rhe snorkel a bit, to let less ai rin.
