Going hunting over the weekend and my 500 will sit outside a hotel for two nights. Any great tips on detering any lurking theives?

Will you have a vehicle available to block it in against the building?
Turn it off in gear and remove the battery and back up shift.
Run the tank dry.
Pull the spark plug.
Remove two wheels and take them in the room wih you.

It will be on a trailer,right? Park in a well lighted area and chain and lock the ATV to the trailer and lock the trailer to the tow vehicle.Make sure you have insurance on the ATV before you go.

Made it through the weekend without a missing part.
Followed the forum suggestion and chained the quad and the trailer to a light post with two separate log chains. Parked the quad in the first spot outside the front door of the hotel.
