I always manage to have a good time, no matter if it's dry or not, but I sure am hoping for a lot of rain before then so they will have some more play areas!
I better not ride my foreman again until this event. Never know what could happen to that thing. Im in like flin.
I cant believe its only been a year since the last p-run, seems like a lot longer than that. Robb you better be in for this one...wont be the same without you + your every 3 min. pit stops. Gonna be a good time.
We will camp that night but the next morning is usually very ugly. All I want to do is go home and sit in my pool, sit on my couch, then go back to bed.
I only live about 30 min. from there so I usually go home and I don't even wanna THINK about riding the next day! Even if the bike survives the ride, I won't be in any shape to do anything but pile up on the couch! I think it was 4:30 a.m. when I got to bed after the Rabbit Run.
But, it's a party / play area during the day around the parking lot starting early morning, then around 7:30 p.m. they start the run, which is a 15-20 mile ride thru the woods at night. When it's been raining a lot -- like last year after a couple hurricanes, it's a pretty rough course, when it's been dry like at the "Rabbit Run" (they have a Pumpkin Run in October and a Rabbit Run in March) it was an easy course. You can camp out there too. We love it!
Here is a quote from a lady from Apolo that she left on highlifter
"Hi, Everyone, I am with Apollo M/C,and I just wanted to let ya know that there will be NO CAMPING FRIDAY NIGHT. And yes, there is lots of mud already.
Actually theres alot of water, but not after a hundred of atvs go through, then there will be mud. I hope you all have a safe and fun ride. "
