I ran 15psi in the 27" Titan 589s on my old POPO. They were like that for about 1200 miles before I sold it. Never had a tire problem (punctures or leaks). And they were cut up pretty good from riding at the Black Hole a lot.
What did the tire say the max PSI was on the Titan's?I ran 15psi in the 27" Titan 589s on my old POPO. They were like that for about 1200 miles before I sold it. Never had a tire problem (punctures or leaks). And they were cut up pretty good from riding at the Black Hole a lot.

Where are the pics of the ride w/ the new shoes? We put some outlaws on my buddies rancher, we took them to a local tire shop to mount them it took 30 psi to set the bead those things looked huge with that much in it. THey were hard as a rock though didn't even attempt them at that pressure, he likes the use of his back and that would have killed him.
Well i just put 14 in there so i guess i will find out how it rides tonight.I can't imagen riding with 15-20 psi in my 589's 8-10 is bad enough.
I normally run 5-7 psi , but I mainly trail ride and rock crawl .
Cant you stretch tires if you put a very high PSI in them and leave them like that over a period of time. That is one thing that i absolutely hate about my 589's, i should have got 28's so i could have actual 27's without feeling like they are filled with concrete from all the xtra added air pressure.I run 12psi now. The ride isn't too bad. Our trails are almost always soft, so it doesn't reaaly matter either way. Until you get beat to death riding over the palmettoes.
I will have to try that, thanks RaveerA little gasoline on the rubber and leave them out in the sun, tires will get real soft and will easily stretch. Becareful with gas though.
