hey folks, new member here .. im from New Brunswick Canada and i just have a question about my bike , its a 2003 honda 350-ES , (Rancher)

took the bike out last night for the first rip , there is somthing wrong with the bike . when i go wide open ..fast as it will go in 5th i look on the display and the 5 is blinking .. so when we slow down and i go to shift it down to 4th it wont go into gear..

is it somthing to do with the clutch adjustment? or a sensor problem??


the only way to fix the problem on the trail is to stop-turn the bike off/ turn the key on , shift it back to neutral and start er up. every other gear works fine .


has anyone else had this problem?? any help is appreciated!!!

Have the same bike but never had that problem come up, but like he said count the flashes and post the number of flashes here and you will get an answer to what the problem is. What part of N.B you from?

they said it also could be some sort of sensor problem.. its weird as soon as i hit top speed in 5th it will do it but if i dont hit top speed it wont. i,m from Albert county "hillsborough" about 20 mins from moncton. you??
