PROBLEMS AFTER SNORKEL INSTALL/// HELP PLEASE

bike ran like a champ before i installed in. followed instructions fron rincon650 and everything went together just fine. the bike starts, i cover the snorkel and the bike dies. i go to drive it and at part throttle or wide open she runs like ****. spits and sputters. i pull the choke and it made no difference at all. it seems its worse at part throttle. before the install i had a jet kit put in and the settings were-- 165 jet, and the needle set on the 3rd clip, and 2 1/2 turns out.

please help, i'm trying to go out this weekend

Well, we got it fixed.. The Honda guy told him to put a 155 in and it runs awsome.. Bad smell of gas with anything bigger.. He is testing it today...

its fixed and all is well. went out today and it runs perfect. that little trick about plugging the drain tube on the carb is a great thing to do. after i installed the snorkel yesterday and was able to go into 4'-5' deep hole today, water wheelie across a creek and the bike didnt even flinch at it. all day long i kept checking the little tube at the bottom of the air box and i never got water in it all day long. once i found out she knows how to swim... i was in the deep end all day.

thanks to all that helped me figure all my little problems out, i'm able to realy enjoy my bike now. rincon 650

what would the honda brand croos over to if i am running a 165 dyno jet?

awesome slidell!!!

i got mine done the other day...all 2"pvc pipe...all i have to do is paint it and vent the lines up...

it may not be done for another couple of days b/c i am a [email protected]$$ and i have been REALLY busy at work....

but when i am done i will post some pics up fer ya to check out and let me know what you think...

I was sent a Kehein 170 with my hmf utility ... and it did look like the stock jet .. so i replaced a 170 with a 170?
