Problem with Reverse on '01 Rubicon

My 2001 rubicon periodically goes into limp mode in reverse (only reverse, all the forward gears have always worked fine and continue to do so). In the past, if my battery was low, My computer would throw an error code 10. I replaced the battery and reset my codes. This worked fine for a while, still now my reverse seems to randomly go into limp mode and will not show an error code. Has anyone had a problem like this? Getting a little frustrated.

I would first check & clean the reverse switch , it's on the gear shift ...

I actually had a new switch on order at the time of your post.

Well, its been a while since my last ride but finally after replacing my reverse switch my bike is still showing the same symptoms.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
