·With lights on and with pressure on the power steering I am getting only a 9 to 11.5 volt charge -- in other words a drain on battery.
With lights off - but with pressure on steering - just over 12 volts
With the power steering 40 fuse out -- charging is normal.14.6 or so.
And with lights, power steering and a gearshift #### even the taillight
flickers.
Most of the riding is done in the dark so the battery is draining.
All earths have been checked... only the p/steering unit itself has not been.
It's got a Yuasa 14 battery. And normal rectifier. Leads tight.
ANY suggestions welcome and desperately needed - except go to a dealer. Or has anyone a telephone number direct to Honda Technical??
