Power question

I ride a lot of trails and cross some creeks, rivers, and some mud holes but i don't ride strictly mud and i definitly don't ride deep water. I also do a lot of towing on hunting trips and stuff. Would it benefit me if I did some power mods to my Foreman or would I be wasting my money? I'm thinking Unifilter, Jetting, and an exhaust but nothing that's to loud.

You should buy the power kit from Highlifter, you get the k&N, Jetting, and a Supertrapp, also another inlet pipe for the airbox, so you will have 2 intakes - its perfect if you dont ride the deep stuff. I think that would work nice for you, and its good for a couple more horsepower, you should feel a difference.
If you plan on keeping your quad for a while then definately do it. I love the power difference. Its to much money to dump into something you may not be keeping long term.
Most definately do it. You will be amazed at how it wakes it up.

What do you mean by another inlet pipe? can you show a pic of one please? i am supposed to get that package
We both plan on keeping our machines for long term then I should probably get the wife a kit also. About that exhaust, is it loud? I do a lot of hunting from my machine and don't want or need excessive noise. Thanks guys!

it comes with a prebent radiator hose looking thing, so you cut another hole in the airbox so then you have 2 inlets.
It pretty much gets twice as much air as before, it doesn't work that well for us down here, but we mainly ride in deep water, but if you don't have to do a big snorkel then that would be a good upgrade.

i think that it comes with the quiet supertrapp which is almost as quiet as stock...also if you do not want the hmf solely because of the noise...reconsider it because it can come with a quiet core insert for 20 dollars more and is almost as quiet as stock.
Thanks for all the info guys, I'll probably do the power mod in the spring along with a few other additions.
