When my bike is in very thick mud it pops out of low gear. I have had it to two Honda dealers and the first one told me that nothing was wrong. The second one took it apart and replaced low gear. That was a month ago. It is doing it again. Anyone else have this happen to you ?

puzzling

I always thought the rubicon was a hydrostatic transmission, puzzling how it could do that when there are no conventional gears involved. I'd like too see the actual bill for low gear from that warranty job as well...lol

I think the selector is popping out of place, not the actual tranny.

The rubicon still has a sub transmisson that gear reduces the transmission to a low range or back up to high. Kind of like transpher case on a 4x4 truck.

Yes there are actual gears. They had the trans apart and showed me the gears. I did not see anything wrong with it. I was not billed, it was covered under my warranty. The told me that the shifter was not properly adjusted. I need to find a good dealer to look at it. I also have a 424 installed and they will not adjust that either.
