Ha Ha! That's a really good question that I'd like the answer to myself!

I was just curious to see if anyone else had problems with the stockers.

All I know is that everyone I ride with has stock tires on new quads. All Honda Ranchers and a Foreman. We all ride in the same areas. I am the only one coming home with slow leaks/flats.

2 or 3 days after a 4-5 hour ride, the bike is sitting on a rim. I had originally thought I just got into some trash somewhere in the mud that I just couldn't see. But after a couple weeks of plugging tires after every freakin' ride, I've come to the conclusion that the tires are junk.

I had enough last night and ponied up for some Bear Claws.

The interesting thing is that my stock bias - ply Rancher tires have 200 miles on them without a problem. I put them on the wife's Recon, and I put a brand spankin' new take - off set from a '07 Rincon 680 on my 350 Rancher. I've had nothing but problems with the tires since I put them on.

I've been riding ATVs for a while now, and have never seen such a thing before. I've seen guys wear a stock set of bias - ply tires so smooth that there isn't any tread left whatsoever without a single plug.

I don't get it.

Maybe gremlins are breaking into my garage at night with an icepick.

Well, I don't think so. They didn't have a single mile on them when I bought them. They were taken off a new unit at the dealer. I got the aluminum rims and OEM tires.

Small pinhole punctures, scrapes, cuts. I was running them at 3psi when I got the majority of the punctures.

I don't know what's doing it.

I know I'm almost finshed worrying about it, though!!
