most likey you carb drain as you are siting on the bike the drain tube comes out under the right floor board toward the rear. plug it. then there are two tubes rapped around the carb (vents) extend them up just infront of the pod light put a couple loops in the tube and put a zip tie on it so the tubes dont unwind. then you will be good as far as it wanting to die.
