Went to go ride at Canal Rd in Gulfport, Ms. yesterday and found out that it is all of a sudden private property. I am looking for a simular place to ride in that area. I could use any help any one can provide. I have found several places in De Soto National Forest but no directions to get there. Tiger Creek, Rattlesanke, Bethel. If anyone has any directrions to these places let me know. I prefer mud and FREE. Thanks for any help guys.

Canal Road

You can still ride there!! The owners through those sighns up to keep the trucks out because of what happened a couple of weekends ago. We go out there all the time. Alot of people just ride on the west side of canal road but theres alot of trals and mud on the east side to.
I was told that there were cops riding 4-wheelers out there writing tickets and possibly confiscating your bike.
i dont know if anybody read the paper and saw where the jeep had flipped over and the lady got trapped under it. but i was the kid in the paper. and i think thats why they closed it and now we have no where to ride.
