Performance Kit - no jetting instructions?

Got my HMF Utility, K&N, outerwears & 170 Keihin. It didn't come with instructions. It actually came with 3 jets and they all look the same? I know a little about how carbs work, so whats the lowdown? Is there any tricks? Take the whole carb off? Or just the bowl? How hard is it actually?

NOT HARD, I TOOK CARB OUT AND DID EVERYTHING, I HAVE 170 DJ AND AM 2.5 TURNS OUT
After someone with better eyes than me looked at it, the kit came with a 165, 170 and 175. I'll put the 170 and go from there.
You should be able to just losen the clamps holding the carb and rotate it 180degs to access the bottom.
Going to try it this afternoon. So just rotate, pull out the main (big one in the middle?), put in the new 170, put back on and adjust the idle screw?

That simple?
After doing some reading, I see where some replaced the needle and spring. My kit only came with the jets, will it matter if I dont swap it out?
I can't tell you or sure. The stock needle is not adjustable like the 450's was. Worst case scenerio you'll have to get a needle. You can live w/o the spring.
my jet kit came with a needle and spring, you will probaly want both. spring is shorter, and needle has a diff tip and grooves to adjust with, so i was told about the needle
Put it all on tonight. Took about 1 1/2 hours. Getting the stock muffler off was the hardest. Seems to be running fine with just the 170 jet. The HMF Utility sounds great ... now time to payback my neighbor on his harley ...

Thanks for the help guys!
Glad to hear it!
