What are Elka shocks?

Gas charged shocks,more travel and adjustible. Quite expensive if you look at the top dawgs but they are custom made. elka.com I think.

just remember you will have to ditch the lift or the perfex kit if you get Elka's they will NOT work together.i got the perfex kit until i have the dough for some elkas so it is a good compromise....79$ or $1400 you tell me.also the elkas lower the ride hight by about an inch or so but you won't regret it when you have real shocks.if you want a price quote call Andre' at elka he is super helpful and can make them to work with your weight and all the accessories on your bike.also a lift kit and a perfex will not work together.the perfex long travel kit is made to soften the ride and you get about an inch and a half of lift.The lift kit is just that it lifts the quad about 2 inches or maybe less.i myself won't trade my perfex kit for anything except a set of elkas which won't be here for a long time so i recommend the 79$ option.

So the Elka shocks lower the ground clearance & are $1,400? They must
ride like a cloud. What is the Elka website. I tried elka.com, but it was not
the right one.

Yep you can keep the Elka shocks, if i wanted to ride on a cloud i would have bought a irs quad!

when and where did you get the perfex for $79

It wasn't that long ago when they were $79 just about anywhere you could
order them.

Eklka say's that ther shocks got more travel than stock, I don't see why u can't use them with a lift cause they are sort'a custom. A lift is a sot of shock extension where as I don't know about a perflex. It's elakasuspension.com and they are one another web site I found on this page. Thank God for George Dubya cause that Canadian$ keeps going UP.Victory in Afganistan.

$79 kits were available for the Recon and Rancher up until March. Foreman Kits are about 15 bucks higher.

Perfex moves the shock mounts which increases wheel travel.
