Outlaws?

6140 Views 13 Replies 8 Participants Last post by  trail_shredder_crf
I am planning on switching to 27x10 and 27x12 Outlaws on my 450S. I currently run 27x10 and 27x12 Mudlite XL. What would be the pros and cons of this switch? Should that be the size of Outlaws I use or should I go smaller or bigger? How do the Outlaws perform on the trails?

you have all the mods nec. for turning the laws, if your givin' em' **** in the mud be prepared for things to break, size is kinda of a personal preferance, personally i would put the biggest tire i could fit under my quad (as long as i can turn it enough to sling mud on my old ladie) as for lawz performance on trails it would have to be bout the same as 44" boggers riding down the highway! but i would'nt tyrade mine for anything, exept maybe the 31" when they come out!!!!!!!
What kind of thing am I going to break with them? Is there another tire that works better in the mud than the mudlites I currently run that won't be so destructive?

axles will be your number one break. 27" would be a good size for your bike too. the laws go ok on the trails, by far not the best but they do ok. like rubyandforeman said the zillas or mud bitches will do good in mud too but the outlaws are the best. if you take it easy in the thick stuff you will be fine. i had 27" executioners on my rubicon(they are the ones that have 2" of tread on the side) and i never broke anything. i really drove it hard too.
