Odometer reset

I saw on of the other post asking if there is a trick to reset the mileage after changing a battery. I tried taking both wires off and draining the momory...didn't work. Any other suggestions?? Trip still works along with the clock and speedodometer, just wont reset the mileage. Reads 99999

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
