Noisy motor

Hey has anyone noticed this or experience this or is it just normal to have a lot of engine rattle around 70km or 44 mph and up on there Rubicons. Mine is a 04 with 2000 km or 1250 miles on it and just seems to be a bit to noisy the last few rides once i get up too that speed and over. I have adjusted the valves 3 times now and no different and even out of curiosity i put them too tight and ran in down the road once and made no difference at all..

Any feed back would be much appreciated

PS What is every ones average high cruising speed. I mean the speed you like to cruise at before you feel your pushing your luck and revving it too much on a few mile stretch.

Cruising speed around here is 15-20. There is not much room to open bikes up on our trails.
In ocala we can get up to at least 30

SE I dont think we get over well 20 sober

45 Screg Drunk

Poor Gabby.
Around where I live I can get around 30m.p.h.
15 sober(just enough to beat Gabby)

40 drunk(of course at night with no goggles, wearing contacts)
what in the world did you do to your rubicon to go 44 mph and up?

mine will barely go 40 mph...and tha't pushin' it.

most of the time i'm cruisin' on the trails at 10-15 mph.
10 to 15 on the trailes. With stock tires I can run 53 top end.
With 26's top end is 47. Around 40 it sounds like it's starting to work
a little harder.
i can get mine up to arround 58 but then i run out of room but with the 27s i can only get up up to around 50.
without the 424 you probably could not get that. the 424 is a good investment if you dont have traxlok.
