NO TOP END SPEED???????????????????????

My 98 450S has enough low end grunt, but when it comes to the top end I can only get up to 35 mph. or so that is with 26'' outlaws or the stockers. Air cleaner is new any ideas would be great. It runs good does'nt make any engine noise! Would a bbk help???

i get 48 mph w/26 mudlites.you might want to check your clutch adjustment,and compression.
Yea man that's not good at all. I got a 98 450ES and I can run 48 with 27" ITP 589's. I know my brother put a pipe on his and it killed his top end a little.

compression? how do you check that?
i was on long dirt road yesterday, going fast as i can and it was only 75km/hr (45 mph) and it sounded like it was goina blow up!

my air fliter was alittle dirty, not bad. no power mods only 26" mud lite xls.
and I was waayyyyy wayyyyy ahead of you. Poor little Foreman couldn't keep up.
this is probably a stupid question but how do check clutch adj..what should the compresion be? thanks for the help so far..
top end speed

i got mine piped jetted and magik box with 27 zillas or vamps depending on my mood, have had mine on gps and my buddy riding next to me in his car doing 60 feels good to pas rhinos on the straight aways
