I have a 2011 Honda Foreman. The last time I crank it, the solenoid was bad (had to use a screwdriver to get it to turn over). I went out the other day to try cranking it up and The smaller red and white cable that is connected to the red positive cable broke off. Someone said that would cause all power to be lost. Also, someone else if the solenoid went completely out, that could also cause a lose of all power. I’m not that mechanically inclined. So, I spoke to someone that told me to try putting a ring terminal on the red and white cable and screw it to the solenoid with the red positive cable and see if worked.. that was no guarantee. My first question will be does anyone know if the solenoid would cause all lose of power if it’s completely out?
