All I can say is WOW! Looks much better with the 27 inch Mudbugs & black wheels.
What did you do with the 2002 Foreman? Did you sell it or keep it?
Also, could you look & see if the air filter is the same on the new Foreman S as it is on your other 450 Foreman S.
Still got the older Foreman, I will probably try to sell it later on. I will look at the filter for you. I did look real quick, and it looked similar, but im gonna try to fit the K&N from the other Foreman on here, we will see.
That is the reason I was askin' is because if I get one I want to put my K&N Filter on there. If not, I will just put it on my wifes.
I know the bike is still new Rob,how much more pep does it have compared to a stock 450.You probably are breaking it in still, can you feel a big difference yet compared to your old 450.Do the 27 Mudbugs clear the fender's better than the older Foreman's without a lift. The bike looks great,I poss will buy one later on,waiting to hear responses or if they develope any problem's.IT IS A HONDA THOUGH!!!!
Hey truegrit, You think I should go ahead and hook up ROBB while I'm fixing up yours?

Robb, That a very nice foreman, What kind of paint did you use on the wheels?

I Think I have found a place that carries smooth bore flex hose that is used in cafeterias. I have seen some on an older foreman. This stuff I have been told comes in all sizes up 6"
JF450ES - Thanks for the compliments. So far, jus cruising around the neighborhood, it seems to have quite a bit more pep then the old 450, I really havent had a chance to really get on it hard or go through any mud yet though. The big difference I have found so far, the ride, it rides like a cadialic compared to the 450!!

raveer2000 - Thanks for the compliments. I just used some HighTemp flat black from Ace Hardware, nothing special at all. Those are the wheels and tires off my older Foreman, but I gave them a fresh coat of paint right before I put them on the 500. And the 27s seem to fit a little better on here, mine rubbed the 450 over big bumps when I was goin fast over them, not a chance on this bike.
That hose sounds like good stuff, I gotta get this thing snorkeled before the weekend, but im not ready to cut anything yet. At least not until the 6 month warranty is over anyway.

Railroader - The K&N from the 450 will not fit the 500

Fairly cheap and easy to replace though.
Very nice robb. If you dont want to cut then you should do the snorkel like dano's/
Looks too quiet. It needs a pipe. "You callin' me Yella"

You can get flexible exhaust hose from a boat supplies store, to run the snorkle. It has a smooth bore and should be able to be placed directly against the motor w/o burning.

That sounds perfect. I got it all apart for the snorkel, its gonna be a tight fit for sure.
Looks good I like the yellow. I don't know what the 450 was like but I know that mine turns the 27's without a problem even with the steel rims. IF you don't want to cut the plastic then you are going to have to run on the outside of the plastic. There aint no way it is going to fit beside the gas tank or anything. Looks good can't wait to ride again with ya.
BNJEEPP well dano got his to work so i am sure there is a way
Dano ran his along side the motor. But he put the flex hose inside metal tubing (fence post I beleive) for insulation. With a t coming rigth out of the airbox, to run two 1.5" lines.
I know you can run it outside of the plastic straight out of the airbox, it is a pretty straight shot. I was just saying that there is no room along side the gas tank to go beside the handlebars. When I ran mine along side of the motor, it was pretty close so I you aluminum foil to go between the flex hose and head of the motor, it is out of sight and works great.
Get a pic of it if you can.

Here's my toy with its new 27" 589's there's not much that it wont go through
