I will tell you of an AWESOME all purpose tire that gets no respect. I have had them and saw in person what they can do on numerous occasions. I have yet to find anyone who had them who EVER found a better all around tire. It is the Cheng Shin Lumber Jack. It is similar to the Chevron but better. I personally have pulled into a mud hole with my lumber Jacks and pushed a stuck quad with strykers out, without getting stuck myself. They grab rocks good and clean well in mud. They rovide a very smooth ride on hardpack.
Why they get no respect is beyond me. Maybe because they look old school a bit? But newer is not always better
