I'll probably get some flack for this but I believe if it doesn't work when it is new, it isn't going to work after some miles or time has been but on it. I start the bike let it get hot then let it cool and then let-a-rip. I have built several motors, atv, harley, and car and have never had a problem yet. Just my thoughts..........
I rebuild motor on my spair time and i've discussedit at my dealership and they recommend running the motor at less than 1/2 throttle for 10 hours but never at a constant speed.
I guess everybody has their own opinions but I let it get hot, then let it cool down (idleing), Then run it no more than half throttle for a couple hrs and let it cool down, then run it no more than 3/4 throttle for a couple hrs and let it cool down. Then ride it like you stole it.
