new here need help starting problems and rear end prob

2000 foreman 450s is haveing trouble starting it will start and choke out in choke and in half choke but when completely out of choke it will not start
the rearend will not turn when it has weight on it but you jack up the four wheeler and get the weight of the rearend it will go any ideas?

might need to pull the carb and give it a good cleaning. sounds like a stripped axle on the rear. They are known for stipping. If it hasn't damaged the ring gear in the rear diff, sometimes you can get away with just changing the axle it self. The wifes foreman did the same thing, I was able to just change the axle, seals and left side rear bearing and everything was good to go.
try a new spark plug in it,mine was struggling to start lastweek + i put a new plug, in no problems in morning now

Does the front end pull? Is it making any noise? If you are not running the correct oil in the transmission it might be the clutch is slipping.

using automotive oil, or synthetic oil that is not specific for ATV's can cause the clutch to slip and the thing wont pull. if that is the case, replace the clutch, flush ou the oil as thoroughly as possible and only use the recommeded oil. It costs a little more, but it is cheaper in the long run.
