Hello, I am Sean and live outside Birmingham, AL. I have a 1999 Honda Foreman TRX450ES which is stock with the exception of a Warn winch, rear rack, and receiver.

I have had a few ATVs over the years, I started out with a Honda TRX125 and then went on to a TRX200SX, next was a TRX300 4x4 which I had for many years and then came the current TRX450ES. I have always wanted a 4-stroke sport ATV with reverse such as the older TRX300X in addition to a utility ATV but with limited places to ride where I can open up the throttle I have never been able to justify the purchase.

Hello all!

My name is Art. I live in Paradise (yes, that's the town name) Newfoundland, Canada.

I just bought (Sunday past) a '07 Rubicon 500 Cdn Trail Ed, Red in color with less than 1,100kms. She has several accessories including windshield, 2" lift kit, storage seat/compartments, mud tires (Not even sure the brand/model). I haven't had a chance to really size up the specifics of the bike, she'll get my undivided attention this coming weekend. My 1 year old son keeps me VERY busy!!

I just ordered (this a.m.) the Runva 3.5P 3500 lb winch (synethic), that will be installed ASAP.

Take Care!
Welcome to the Forum Art,
ya need to get a Service manual for that if ya don't have one..big help .....I don't know if there one for that Canada Edition, but I Bet one of us could get close enough, for clutch adjustments, valves oil changes .....etc

Hi Will, glad to have ya where ya from bud?

Reason for the profile request is we get a lot of 1-2 question people and end up spending a lot of time on people who never come back & you might be living down the street from one of the regular members and not know it!

hello from north mississippi. i have a 2ksomethingother foreman. i obviously don't know much about it. it was bought used by my father in law along with a rancher 350 that look like a smaller version. he wrecked the 500 with a grand child onboard with him and sent the bike home with me. its been here for about a year doing yard tasks. some one screwed up the winch so i tore it down to fix. i have a decently modded dually that info was collected from other forums. i have a ton of equipment that im sure can be modded. including the 500. thanks for having me and i look forward to the info i find to make a nice bike. quick question tho. yes or no. if yes ill keep searching. is it possible to take this 2 wheel drive and make it 4. thanks.
Welcome to the forum...Now thats a intro! B)

I would say first things first, lets see if we can help you help you find that make / model / Year of your quad...while setting on the bike on the frame -rear-right hand side should be a silver sticker that gives you all the info about the quad, if not you might have to remove the winch, if it is still not off, it's under the winch mount plate on a cross member is where the Frame is Stamped with Serial numbers are stamped......very common for most who get used Honda's and a almost impossible place to find if ya do not know where to look!

as Far as the 2X4 -4X4 toodeep is The man to ask about that I would look for a prop shaft coming out the front left hand side of engine and go frm their

Just signed the papers for my first quad. It's a 2013 Foreman ES.
I have been waiting years to get a quad for my ranch. It's 160 acres of steep (800 ft. drop in 1/2 mile) foothill property. I have even some had trails dozed, but have not been able to use them till now. The Foreman is going to have to double as a small tractor for grading, towing & dragging, where my full size backhoe is to big, so a three point hitch will be the first thing I bolt on. Any experience with these would sure help.
Glad to be here, and thanks for the forum!
Dan
Can't help you with the 3 point, but a Good Winch is a "MUST" have on any Quad!

PS: Congrats!
