Hey guys this is the only site that I have found to be very helpful all makes of Honda's. My friend bought an 03 Rincon used but in great shape. But all I have ever owned are Foreman's. What are the things that he needs to beaware of when it comes to maintance, trouble shooting and repairs. I'm looking for any problems area's that might arise on a trail or on top of a mountian should we need to fix it or hopefully not tow it back. Can anyone give me some things that he needs to pay special attention to and know how to fix it on the spot or try to fix it. I know that he needs to keep the radiator and oil coolers as clean as possible at all times. Is there anything that could possibly give trouble. Is there any spare parts that yall reccommend to carry along. The reason why i'm asking is because we go on a trip to the mountians of WV and usually ride about 100+ miles in the freezing cold in January or Febuary. I really don't want to spend alot of wasted time freezing to death fixing or repairing anyone bike. I knew that on some Rincon's had a recall on the tie rods and we spent about 1 hr fixing a broken tie-rod on a Rincon last time. If you guys can reccommend anything that you be greatly appreiciated.

Thanks, Rusty

In stock form you can ride the crap out of the rincon and not worry about to much. When you start doing some mods such as air filters and exhaust you will need to rejet the carb. You may want to tell him to run the two vent lines off the carb up into the gauge pod. That will help when going into moderately deep water. Tell your buddy to check out rinconriders.com. He will find everything he ever wants to know about his Honda on that site.
Thanks for the helpful info and the reply. I'll cehck out the site as well.

Thanks, Rusty
