From what I can remember...I heard that one of the wires on the fan ..you need to ground it and it should come on. I will try to find this topic on another posting. I remember seeing it before. Will get back to ya.. I also know that Black Rinny has put a switch on his so he can turn it on and leave it on..

Is there a way to test if the fan works if u know please tell .

look on the very back/bottom of your engine under the pull rope assem. you might have to pull the skid plate off to get to it. There is a blue wire that hooks up to the temp. sensor, just dissconect it and ground it to the frame or motor with the key on. The fan should come on if nothing else is wrong.
