Anybody ever use one of these Louisiana Trailer Dogs? http://www.cabelas.com/spodw-1/0017859.shtml They look pretty cool. Just wondering if anybody has any experience with whether they're worth the money or not.

Looking at the picture, it seems like if you were on a rough road the front end could really bounce around a lot...

i would have to say the $30 for four tie-down straps works just as good if not better than that $200 peice peice that you have to leave part of it contected to the trailer enen when not in use the tie downs can be toughen in the truck and out of site
Robb has the regular guard dog in his truck and it works great. The bike does not move at all.

When I come across some 2" box tubing at work I amd going to make a couple for my trailer.
so the front end dont bounce any or what
i was thinking about making one myself for my truck....seems simple enough..

I suppose if the road was bumby anough it could move. But I have seen Robbs Foreman in the bed of his Colorado run "baja style" down some dirt roads and the bike doesn't move enough to notice.
truegrit I have one for the trailer its still in the box if you want to look at it and see what you will need.........
sounds like Robb is rough on his poor little Colorado
