loudest exaust

me personally i think the HMF's are loudest. From what i understand LRD makes the most power but dont have the snorkel for it. I ordered the LRD becuz of the power and the deep throuty sound

I have the HMF and it is very loud. Actually louder than i want

I've got a HMF Utility that I used in WV at the Hatfield-McCoy trails. I used it for the weekend and then I put my stock back on. It gave me alot of power and it was loud. Louder than I liked, thats why I went back to stock.

Its for sale. $ 195.00 and I'll pay for 1/2 the shipping to you. It was only used for 12 hours, Its finish is brushed. I also have the quiet core and a # 170 jet (you can use your stock needle) for it that I'll throw in for free.

we went creek riding a while back and the guy we were following had a HMF and i had to beg him to let me atleast ride beside him as not to blow my ear drums out. thats why im trying the LRD.

hey justgo with the glasspack. itll saveyou alot of money and itslouder but its still cool. if you wanted to you could get an exhaust snorkel built on to it. i had one on my rubicon and it was LOUD!!! i always rode in the back of the tribe

I need the JET! My dealer says they can't get me a bigger main jet because they have no part numbers.

Yep, felt that way at first to me too. Total insanity when you nail the throttle. I can ride along in 2nd or 3rd and nail the throttle and watch the bike jump underneath me 6-8" as it tries to come out from under me!
With my Foreman I have to work to get the front end up, with the 400EX I have to work to keep the front end down Once you get used to the difference, the handling of the EX is amazing, that thing is like being on rails! Never feels tippy, even when darting around at speed.

On the same topic as this thread it has a Big Gun Race Series exhuast and it is VERY LOUD!! I have a Quiet Core and sparky on the way for it.

I am not a big fan of really loud exaust, but i would like to find a little louder one for mine...

Loud pipes save lives! I've got an HMF Utility and everyone around here goes on about how loud it is. Although you could do what my brother-in-law and I did to his brute force and make it dual straight pipes, which will just about make you go deaf.

I am NOT Flaming bashing or name calling here but I am on the total other end of the spectrum as the louder is ALWAYS better and faster mentality.I do enjoy every kind of racing,dont get me wrong.I love it all no matter the noise level.I just do not feel that because you guys are out riding everyone else who is not or does not ride has to know and put up with it either.Ever thought about the stay at home parent with a newborn kid or the sick kid/person just trying to get some sleep?

Go with a Flowmaster 1 chamber race muffler. Id say its about loud as an HMF maybe a little quiter. I have people ask me all the time what I have on there and I love the look on their faces when I tell them its a flowmaster

I LOVE that muffler I have one on my Jeep and it makes that straight 6 sound like a strong V8 and nobody knows what it is

ahhh Load pipes save lives on the road , agreed . In the woods , it gets you shot at for trespassing or arrested by DNR... I run quite, very very quite ... Benz silent exhaust ..... I have rode up on hunters, deer and turkey before they knew I was there .. really nice for off hunting season riding in the local hunting club area's ..

HMF Utility gets my vote, under load full thottle up a hill , sounds like a Thunder pipe on a Harley
