buying a 06 500 foreman S

I have an 06 honda foreman S,be sure if you buy it,listen to the motor before you sign anything,if it has a knock and they tell you it is normal for that motor RUN to your truck and get the **** out of there and go to another dealer or you will be re-buliding it! I should have listen to this advice when I bought mine,it is in the shop now for a rebuild.

When I bought mine it had a knock in the motor,the dealership told me it was a normal noise for that motor,then I heard some other 06 foremans and they did not sound like that.i brought it back to the dealership 3 times before they told me they would check it out,they ended up changing the crankshaft,piston and rod,got it back still making the same noise,they said it was normal,that was in May 06,Jan 07 was riding down shifted heard a loud clank,then the knock really got worse,brought it to another dealership,they re-built the motor and tranny,$4200.00.
If your bike is making a knocking noise bring it in an insist they fix it right and do not accept it back until the knock is gone.
