I emailed Hebco (the maker of the Perfex Kit) yesterday, and they replied today. The Long travel kit is the same for the Rubi, and Foreman 500 & 450. He has just not updated his website yet.

I would be interested to se how well it works since the ride is already more plush than the older 450s.
Before i contemplate ordering this, how does this thing give you 1.5" more gc if it only goes under the rear shocks? it seems to me like a real "lift kit" it would need something up front too correct?
It does have parts for the front and back, there are pics of the kit on a Rancher in this forum and Forman Lover has pics of it on his Foreman in his sig.

I am new to this ATV stuff. Is the kit that you are talking about for the 2 wheel drive or the 4 wheel drive? Or will the 4wd kit fit the 2wd?
I have a 2005 foreman 500 2 wheel drive.
Thanks again

Steve
You could buy a HL bracket lift kit for a foreman 500 4x4 and install it on your 4x2.All the one on my 450 was a couple relocate brackets for the ft shocks(top mount) and some brackets and pieces that supported to the diff and bottom shock mounts.Same bike you're just missing the drive gears for the ft diff.

Like JF450s said The 4wd kit should work for both. Lifts only relocate shock mounts and really have nothing to do with the drivetrain or its components.Their website does not specify 2wd or 4wd. You can email the or call them to be 100

Sounds like this is the way to go then. is their any negatives about it?

On a side note, How do you like that 500 2wd?

fast? etc etc....
I have never heard negatives about the Perfex kit. I have only heard complaints about the "normal" plate style lift. But in it's defense the Perfex kits are not as common.
The older Foremans ride like a tank with the HL bracket kit, gives alot of body lift but stiffens the suspention, especially if using 27 inch or larger tires. The suspention kit Trugrit is talking about sounds like the best to me,considering the cost and alternatives!!!!!!

I like to know that myself. 2WD foreman must be fast as HE**
I talked to a guy at hebco distributing.com today and below is the email he sent after talking with Honda.
I think I'm gonna get it.
I will get some wheel travel measurements before and after and some pictures.

Steve

Finally, I had an answer. 4x4 and 2x4 have the same upper A-arm, so it's the same long travel kit for 05 TRX 500 Foreman 2x4 and 4x4, and also the same for TRX 350 Rancher 2x4 and 4x4.

TRX500 Foreman 2x4 05: 2202-HF46
TRX 350 Rancher 2x4: 2205-HR35

I like it
I does some good wheelies and seems pretty quick. I just need more ground clearance and bigger tires so I can get stuck in the good stuff
This is my new foreman 500.
I guess it runs ok

Thats the 2wd? How could you not get the blue plastic? I would have traded you my red plastic.

I wanted it now and the dealer didnt have a blue one in stock.

I would like to have the blue it looks cool.[/img]
Bummer, I would have waited for the blue.

Cool wheelies though
Well, looks like something else i need to add to the "list"

I bet that 2wd is fun as **** to drive, nice looking bike.

I didnt even know they made the 2wd in different colors other than the blue. hmm i have to say though, the blue is by far the best Honda color yet.
I installed the HL lift and suspension lift, and yes rougher ride but not much in my opinion. what a diff in clearence.
