i've replaced a few of these seals, not hard at all. if you alread have the drive shaft out then take a flat head screwdiver or something with a hook on it to pull the seal out. what ever you do don't push it farther into the motor, a pain to get out. then to install the new seal i took a socket a tad bit smaller than the seal and tapped it in flush with the motor. reinstall the drive shaft and call it done...
