Can you run this lead sub,in the rubicon? IIRC they quit making lead fuel cuz of the catalitic converters???

Why would you want to the engine was designed to run on unleaded and will run forever if you stay out of the mud and water.
I thought it helped lube it better, and didnt mke more power?? Not sure thats why i am asking.
Well, even if something about lead made it better than unleaded, the engine is designed to run on unleaded. Just a thought, and any experts on the subject can confirm/deny it
I run aviation gas in mine. I love it. The octane is 114 and you will never denote the motor with it. I have a turbo street bike and that is all it runs on . it starts fast and makes the exhaust smell sweet.
run that for more that 1 hour in ur foreman u might not have vavles left
ran my old 02 3,000 miles no problems. you must no av gas the lead isn't high. thats why it's a low lead fuel.
higher octain isnt nesicarly better you actually want to run the lowest octain you can the only reason to go to higher octain is if you increased the compression running 87 will be fine and cheper but like in the case of your street bike it is good to run a higher octain gas becuase the boost from the turbo
To put what Justin said more simply, higher octane does not mean 'better' gas. It is of the same quality as low octane gas. Isn't a fuels octane rating nothing more than how fast it burns?

Your right, a higher octane fuel burns slower and a low octane burns fast. That's whay the higher the compression ratio, the higher octane you need.
too low of octain and too high of compression means detonation
HUH???? If higher octane burns slower, and lower octane burns faster. Then why do you get better fuel milage w/higher octane????
i don't notice no mileage difference between the 2 unless i run an ethanol blended fuel, then my mileage goes to ****, not sure why i think ethanol burns faster like alcohol, lower octane does burn faster in most cases, premium burns slower that is why it is good for high compression engine, it helps ensure a better burn and has more control over the explosion.
