Kph to Mph?

I dont think you can. Unless maybe you change the whole unit out.

I'm with Sparkey, I think the display has to be changed out.

u whould have to buy the whole thing like dirty said.

i know the AC's can change form MPH to KPH, maby some way you could put it on your bike. im sure it woundnt fit right but it wouldnt be hard to make it work.

when i bought it, it was MPH and i got it wet and it quit working for a winter, I took it apart ran rubbing alchol through it and it started to work again, but it switched to KPH now. (when it wasnt working i was hitting buttons like H and M and trip ect.)


so their must be some way to change it back
any help would be great

well if you had it apart, i would take it back apart and look for a switch to turn it back. thats about all i can think of, i never knew that they changed so i gess i learned something new today.

Have you checked with Honda? There is nothing in the manual about this at all. Maybe see if you can get a Phone # from your local dealer, or on line some where. I have seen this discussion on another forum and no one knew how. I couldn't find any info on it. But if it was in statute miles before, and now it 's in Kilometers then there must be a way.

when you took it apart to clean was there 2 locations for the speedo cable to go into?
In know on some sleds you can switch from MPH to KM. by just putting the speedo in a differnt hole.

There is no speedometer cable on this machine. It is digital. Maybe a plug though. Good thought

it did have 2 plugs going into the "motherboard". if they can be switched? maybe i switched them

I would leave it like that and tell everybody my bike can run 100!

lol, some days it will go 65 and some days it will go 45
i'd be happy with 100kph

its just a short in the display because it switched back the other day and then back again

I JUST FIGURED IT OUT!!!. you have to start the engine and when looking at the Odometer press and hold the button for 5 seconds... that will change it to MPH
