K & N Air Filters

The K&N doesn't necessarily give you a ton of performance, but you should
never have to buy another air filter again. The allow more air flow than a
stock air filter.

Im not convinced yet on the clutch kit, most say its a great mod, I dont like it that much. But you do the jetting, hmf, and a good filter, and you will see a difference, its worth it.

from what i've seen the filter does not do any good without the pipe but combined with the pipe and the jet kit you do get a lot more horse power

does anyone know where i can get the outerwear pre-filter for the k&n?

I just have a K&N on my Foreman and after I installed it I noticed that the bike wanted to "breathe" easier. Also I noticed that the acceleration was faster.

The clutch kit helps alot when you have bigger tires and like swampy thick mud. Alls it does is delays the clutch from grabbin by 500 or so rpms thus letting the engin get more into the power band thus giving you more power when starting out.

K&N filters are nice but you almost have to get a exhaust and a jet kit to feel the power increase. the clutch kit does help a great deal and i am very pleased with mine. i think HMF pipes are one of the most high quality aftermarket pipes out there, they give you a little more power and also sound great. for the jets, the bigger the number the bigger the hole in the jet, the bigger the hole in the jet them more gas goes through, the more gas that goes through, the more power you will get. when you get a filter and exhaust they will make more or less air flow so you have to change the jet sizes to get the most power out of your 4wheeler. there are some other things that you can do to 4wheeler but these are about the only mods you can do with out getting into the big $$$.

k&n plus the jets

I assume by a jet kit you are talking about a carb modification - sounds like a way to burn more gas. My Foreman does not get the best gas mileage in the world now, so I am really sceptical about putting a jet kit on.

If the Jet Kit is not for the carb - excuse the ignorance!
